In the cotext of new year's resolutions, i have never ever tried to make or even consider changing a part of me all because of the New Year jollies and going with the flow.
But as years pass by, i discovered that making new year's resolutions is not such a bad thing after all. But even so, my timid and stubborn personality did not permit me to do so.
But this year i strive to make a change. I will try to fix the cracks of my life, i will build bridges to connect those people who matter, i will strive to bring the best out of me, to release the hidden enigma that is resting in me. This year i will change those things that weakens me, keep thise that strengthens me, and discover things that would bless me. This year i will strive to he who i really am. This year i will make a change.

The True Essence of Christmas
Wherever you are in the world, whatever continent, one would know the time of the year called Christmas. The moment where our Savior Jesus Christ was born in a manger in Bethlehem well over two thousand years ago.
Through the years, humans have been celebrating and considering Christmas as the time of the year when we get gifts and money, where lanterns and lights fill up the streets, where fireworks and firecrackers are the only things we see and hear in the streets and the sky. But is this the true essence of Christmas? Is this the reason why we celebrate this joyous occasion we call Christmas?
This must change. Christmas is not about the gifts, or the money we get, or the jolly making. It's about sharing what we have, giving our love, and being with people who mean the world to us. This is what Christmas is all about. When we give gifts, it does not need to be extravagant nor does it need to be expensive, all we need is something that came from the heart, something we don't regret giving. The biggest gift we can give is our lobe and our time. nothing else comes close to these two. Christmas is also a time that we need to realize and cherish the unending, unconditional love that jesus, our Father have given and is continually giving to us.
Friends, let us all get together and cherish this wondrous occasion. This joyous festivity is not for the shimmering lights, loud bangs, and the gifts, it is for the love, for the family and for the remembrance of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us spend this short awaited time with the ones we love, because in the end of the day, they will be the ones who will stick with us through thick and thin, and this is the true meaning of Christmas.

Move! Speak! Make a Change...
In a world full of one-sided opinions and stereotypical thinking, can we still set better standards and advocate change for betterment? Can we move, speak and yield the people of our community and country to do what is right, what is just and what is beneficial not just for their selves but for the world around us also?
My, friend, there are a lot of vices, limitations and influences that urge us to do things that may have irreversible actions that may push permanent damage to human and non-human inhabitants to the world that we live in.
Make a move. Actions speak louder than words. Show your actions that are contrary to the stereotypical beliefs. Yearn to be different. yearn to do things that are beneficial yet sustainable for our earth and its inhabitants. If you must be taunted, suffer, if you are teased, don't mind, for if you do follow you'll achieve more than what they can do, give and sacrifice. You'll make change, you'll make difference, you'll be one of those few who stood up and did not go with the flow.
Speak up! Words might not hurt you physically, but they can leave permanent marks to the mind, to the heard and to our lives. Words are mental torture objects if we know how to, they'll leave scars to the soul far greater that what physical pain may give. Speaking is one of the most powerful tools that people use. Speech and communication are boundless and limitless. use it, practice itm speak it. Advocate change through your words. Don't follow what others may say to you that are contrary to our goal of difference and betterment. Speak up for a better humanity, speak up for a more powerful advocacy, speak up for difference and change.

Make a move! Speak and rise from silence, be different and escape from stereotypical thinking. Our world is one big ecosystem, one item reacting to the other that's why we need to think deeply if our actions are affecting the environment we are in and its inhabitants.
Now what is climate change? Climate change is the rising or lowering of the temperature because of different factors. One of such factors that greatly affect this phenomena is pollution. our world is being filled with waste that is just thrown away because of our no-care attitude. Trash, toxic materials, unhealthy choices, all of these contribute to our ever growing problem. it is not only affecting us humans, but also animals and other living creatures. When you throw a plastic bag in the ocean, where do you think it will go? Most likely, they'd be eaten by the undersea creatures.
As I said, our world co-exists with its inhabitants. If there is an unneeded decrease or an increase in one material or creatures living in our world there will be imbalance. There is a great effect on the inhabitants and the world in general.
But this is not the only cause of global warming, there is also improper disposal, increased CO2 emissions which is making a hole in our ozone and improper use of the substances and raw materials we have.
We must move, speak and make a change in our ever so stereotypical world. By simply reusing, reducing and recycling we can make a great impact. By simple putting your trash in segregated trash bins we can make a change.
Equality: the plea of humanity
Our world was created for the purpose of us to build around it through helping each other, through giving each person, each being, a right to be just, to be treated the same, the be equal. But our current world has a tendency to forget that.
Children suffering, women being battered, poverty-stricken families all are filled with pain because we won't give them what they truly need and truly deserve, respect and equality among people. But humans don't only cross the line of equality and respect with the poor, inequality has its other faces. Discrimination, racism, homophobia, and stereotypical thinking, all of which are part or widens the scope of inequality.
Humans will benefit more if we treat one another equally. Synergy will happen if we have the guts to stand up and fight for equality among humans, no more fight between which or who is more supreme, no more white or black, no more man or woman, no more rich or poor in terms of opportunities and rights; just one big world that aims to be equal to one another.

Reflection for 2nd Grading
The past second grading have been a very great, fun and
entertaining period in my ICT class. As well as being a very conducive learning
experience, it was also not boring. I enjoyed making the activities and exercise
because it taught me how to properly make an HTML web site through the basics
such as the hash tags and codes.
Problems are everyday obstacles which we must
tackle. But in the second grading period, my only problem with ICT was meeting
the deadlines of the activities.
To address this challenge, I urged myself to be
more hardworking and focused on what I am doing especially when meeting the
deadlines of my projects and assignments.
Moving on, I will strive to be better at my
classes and especially ICT. I will try to be better at the things I do, move on
from the mistakes I have done, and be reminded always that mistakes happen but
we can replace them through enriching and making ourselves better.

Techno-vancement: A new-born age through English Proficiency
Have you ever wondered how our world would be like if there was no common language that all continents and countries could speak? Have you ever tried to imagine a world that cannot understand each other? Yeah, I also though of the same thing.
English. To put it simply, English is like the governing body of the whole language system of our world. From London to Tokyo to New York, you can hear the English language. Through having a common language, we engage in communicating with other races. We engage in learning about each other. Through english proficiency, we learn, we hear, we understand.
How can it affect our digital literacy? Well for one, if you don't know English you cannot operate an electronic device very well. What if the device (ex. cellphone) would show you the message "optimized charging" and you understand it in a way that it is not charging. It becomes very confusing. Even computers use the English language for one simple reason. For the convenience of being understood all around the world.
Through time, we have adapted ourselves to be more social, through the internet, through social networking sites, such sites are Friendster, Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Yahoo, Blogger and many more. In using the internet, we also need to know how to understand English. For most of the time than not, web pages use English as its mode of communication also. It does not use Ilocano, or Pangalatoc, or Bisaya, it uses one language, English, the universal language.
Being English proficient doesn't only affect our way of understanding the English language. But also by communicating to other people. Nowadays, it is a must to be English proficient and digital literate. If you want to apply for an office job, you need to know how to operate a computer and to speak to your clients in English fluently. If you are working for a Call Center, you need to be good at English as well as using technology.
In a way, we can simply say that English proficiency and digital literacy work hand-in-hand in synergy. With combining these two powerful items, we can create something far better than what they can produce separately. They can produce communication through technology. We currently live in a digital world where we depend on these digital objects more so than not.
Through digital literacy, we advance, through English proficiency, we understand, through their synergy, we communicate.
