Breastfeed, the Lifeline of Infants

Health is truly an important factor in the development of a person and his abilities and skills. Through health we understand that we need to nurture and take care of ourselves through methods generally easy to do and maintain.
A child, an infant is a gift from God. Everyone of us goes through the phase of infancy. Each and every person has experienced being an infant, an innocent angel that has been given by our Lord.
Breastfeeding is futile and essential in the development of a child. Breastfeeding is the most effective natural all-in-one supplemental vitamin capsule that contains all the essential life sustenance materials that are vital in the development of an infant into childhood and adolescence.
Compared to commercial milk products, breastfeeding is better in a whole lot of ways. The breast milk is way more nutritious and delicious without the added preservatives, sugars and taste enhancers. In a way breastfeeding is also more accessible because it is always with the mother. While commercial milks need water to be mixed in, breast milk is already in liquid form ready at any given time and moment to be fed to the child, hence better for both mother and child.
I as a child has also been breastfeed. It has contributed a lot to my development into adolescence, mentally, physically, and more. I myself have proven that breastfeeding is the best way to go.
Breastfeeding is the lifeline of all human beings. Life on earth begins with the nourishment of a child through breastfeeding. Nothing else can be the same level or the same caliber as breastfeeding.. For breastfeeding is like an infinite force that needs to be kept going for as long as the human race continues to live on.
Bottom line, breastfeed or breastmilk is one of the best things that happened to humans ever since the world begun. it supplies nutrients, enzymes and antibodies to the feeble growing bodies of infants. Breatsfeeding is natures solution to feeding a child for the first part of its life. Breastfeeding is right, just and exclusive.

SONA: Philippines the PNoy way

Our President, Benigno 'Noynoy' Aquino III gave his speech or State of the Nation Address (SONA) last July 25, 2011 at the Plenary Hall, House of Representatives or more commonly known as Batasang Pambansa, Quezon City. Long before President Aquino began his speech, a lot of Filipinos were already outcrying their urges and feelings about PNoy's first year in service.
The SONA of Pnoy became a National Phenomenon for the short time that it was broadcasted live on national television through the different major television networks such as GMA and ABS-CBN. A lot of people were able to watch PNoy as he gave his SONA. But there are still those who weren't able to watch because of their jobs and students who still have their classes.
For me, the second SONA of PNoy was a hodge-podge of mixed reactions. It is true that PNoy have done a lot for the betterment and rise of our country, the Philippines. But are his efforts enough to feed the poor? Are his projects effective in giving the poverty-stricken Filipinos a chance of a better life? Are what he have done enough? No. Though he has done some, his efforts for his first year in service are in my opinion lacking. Yes he has banned the use of "Wang-wang", yes he has stopped corruption and yes he has helped. But has he kept his promises?
My insight is that the first year of PNoy was a 'rehabilitation' process to rise Philippines from the pits it has fallen into because of the past Administration. Through his SONA, he proclaimed that we now have a stable Stock Exchange averaging 4000 units, we are almost at the investment rate, the number of no-work people lessened. It was also said there that new projects will be made for the betterment of the Filipino race, while those money-draining, corrupt-handled projects will be banned so that the money will be used for more practical purposes such as raising the salary of government employed people, starting housing projects for those who need them, and educational programs for the literacy of all Filipino children.
For me, PNoy tried to persuade us that the past problems are gone, that he has done a lot. But alas, it is an irony. For he has done only a few compared to what he must do. Is PNoy an effective president? Yes. Is he the most effective? Probably not. But we still have to wait, there are still 5 SONAs to go, 5 more years for PNoy to make a difference, 5 more years to help the Filipino race.

To the President's Desk

Dear Mr. President,
Salutations! Good day to you Mr. President. i want to address to you the major problems that we are facing in our country today. Like pollution, poverty, educational deficiency and more. I am sure that you sir, is already used to these problems. But I want to voice out my opinions also.
Nationalism, the advocacy of every Filipino is well seen. Our  country , the Philippines, our mother land is in a state of 'disrepair'. It is somehow comparable to a person who has fallen into a deep hole, a deep abyss. It is in a place of darkness, fear and distrust. Danger lurks its every corner, people are becoming uneducated, the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.
It is your duty, dear Mr. President to address this issues, to try and rescue the Philippines from the deep pits it has fallen into. And it is your responsibility to take care of your children, us, the Filipino people, for you are the standing father of our beloved country. I hope that one day, the Philippines would change its image. From an illiterate, corrupt, unjust and 3rd World Country to become globally competitive, just as advanced as other countries currently are. Your People trust in you to lead the Philippines into victory, to give your children the benefits, the rights and the freedoms that they well deserve. Your people are well diverse, coming from different races, from different parts of the country and from different walks of life. But one thing is for sure, and this is the one thing that they can all agree on. They want change. They want development in every sector of the Philippines. Moreover, they are waiting for the boom to happen, for the sleeping ill-fated country to awake from it's long slumber and begin its development and growth that it truly deserves.
The educational attainment of the country is in my opinion at an all time low. Gone are the days where students truly go to school to study. Our educational system must be improved, but I don't think the K-12 basic education system is not ideal at the moment. What  is needed is to implement a project that is both cost-effective and appealing to poverty-stricken parents. Like the project that Mexico launched,. They supported the children's education and their parents. And when the students graduate high school, the parents are given incentives. That is truly a very effective way.
Poverty in our country is very high. Because of corruption and educational deficiency. We must expose the corrupted and stop them from doing nationalistic vendetta against their own people.
The recklessness of those unknowledgeable is also a great factor. They must be educated in doing the right thing, in helping preserve our natural resources and helping in cleaning and making the Philippines the great, beautiful and green inhabitable paradise it used to be.
I hope my words really  reach you. Because as a student and as a Filipino, I care about the future of the mother land, the country that I inhabit, the Philippines.
                                                                                                                      Truly and respectfully yours,
                                                                                                                          Tatus Jericho Forges
