My Teacher, My Hero

Imagine a world full of students without any teacher, a world that would not move forward, a world that has no innovation, a world that's degrading.
Right from our infant years, our teachers have been there abiding by us, teaching us the simplest words such as mama and papa, or the simplest tricks like close-open, or even the simplest songs like ABCD.
When we entered our schooling years, different teachers began teaching us reading, writing, adding, subtracting and coloring. Then they moved on to teaching us Biology, Physics, Biotechnology, Advanced Statistics, Chemistry and Calculus. From the basics to the advanced, our teachers have been there with us every step of the way. Not that I am all grown up, I kind of wonder how our teachers were able to teach very active, inattentive and confusing students to stop, listen and understand. I wonder how they are able to come to school everyday even when they are not required to just to help their students in extracurricular activities. I am amazed on how committed they are to what they are doing, how they can sacrifice their own time to make lesson plans and check their students' papers.
Teachers, the sole reasons to why mere students get educated and become important people in their own communities. The secret to each persons success is their teachers. The ones who did not give up when their students are not studying, are failing and who gave up on their lives and their futures.
I remember how Ma'am Cacal stayed with me in school for 3 vacation days just to give me and administer my periodical tests because I was absent for a regional contest when my classmates had them. She even gave me food to eat out of he own money without expecting something back.
It was then I realized how lucky I am. How i have a workforce of teachers behind me, ready to help and support me in every step I take to reach my goals.
Thank you Teachers, for being there right beside us, your students even when we make you angry, even when we hurt your feelings, even when your salary is insufficient to support yourselves, even when everyone else has given up on us.You help us, you teach us, you mold us to who we want to be. Thank you dear teachers, thank you!

Modern Day Hero

Have you ever wondered how you learned to crawl, or to walk, or to count, or to read? Well, you did not learn those on your own.
Teachers are the sole reason to our education and success. These are the people who bestow upon us, the students, knowledge, knowledge that we can use someday inv our own careers and lives. The whole context of teacher hood is not limited or pertaining only to those who we see teaching inside the classroom, neither is it limited to the ones who give us grades. Teachers in general can be any person in the world that influences us and shares their knowledge to us from their own understanding so that we could also learn new ideas and also analyze the world through our own scope and understanding..
Learning is not only bounder inside the four walls of the classroom by our subjects such as Math, Science and English but continues on outside the classroom like learning how to wash, how to clean, how to be a better person and even how to live.
Teachers are often underestimated because of the profession they take. People tend to underestimate and forget that without teachers, there can never be a bright future. Underpaid and stressed they know and understand what selflessness and sacrifice means. They live their daily lives worrying about their students’ welfare. They sleep late at night reading and checking test papers, projects and assignment of their students and preparing the lesson to be taught the following day. They use teaching materials the they bought out of their own money to make the lesson more enjoyable and understandable for the students. And yet we tend to forget how much we owe our teachers and how much we need to thank them for all the sacrifice they have done for us and for our betterment.
Teachers not only give us knowledge about the subjects they teach, but also knowledge about life. They give to us insight as to how hard life can someday be, how we can manage these hard moments in life and despite how unfair, hard and heart-breaking life can be, there will always be a ray of light that gives us hope and tells us that we can have a new beginning and that we can  make things right.
Just merely thinking if we don’t have teachers with us gives me Goosebumps and chills. Who would be there to guide us? Who would teach us wrong from right? What will become of our tomorrow? Catastrophe will happen.
I am amazed how patient teachers can be and how well they can handle unprepared for events. I am amazed how even though their students are delinquents and black sheeps they still try to understand and teach them.
Let us take a small part of our pride and tell our teachers that we are fortunate and licky that we hace them. Let us take a small part of our voices and tell them, “Thank you dear Teachers!” Les us remember that a big part of our lives and success are because of our teachers. For they have guided us throughout our years in education to the path that we must rightfully take.
Teacher to sum up are a portentous part in the process of molding of our human characteristics and future. They sacrifice for their students and for their betterment so that someday they can be good people of the community. So that someday, they can become successful people that anyone can be proud of. Teachers teach so that they can make their students graduate and so that their hard work and sacrifice won’t be in vain or for nothing. Thank you teachers for everything you have given us! Thank you for giving hope for a better and brighter tomorrow!
